What is ETC?
ETC is a Musical Theatre Company based in Wiltshire.
We specialize in offering young people the opportunity to experience professional theatre.
Ideal as a stepping stone for those hoping for a career in musical theatre as well as those ‘between jobs’ or even retired artists.
Cast and crew members from 13 to 30 years of age are encouraged to develop their rehearsal and performance skills through the presentation of major musical and showcase performances and workshop programmes that lead to recognized qualifications.
We stage three productions each year – A major musical production ,a showcase/review and a Xmas Musical.
Recent shows by the 'professional team' have included 'West Side Story', 'Summer Holiday', ‘Sound of Music’, ‘Copacabana’ 'Boogie Nights'

2008 Major Musical production was the all singing all dancing spectacular ‘
The Autumn showcase 2008 is on October 11th at The Wyvern Theatre 'A Night in the West End'
We will be spending Christmas at the Arts Centre with a 2 week run of the Musical 'Scrooge'
2009 Major Musical production will be 'West Side Story' over the easter period at the Wyvern
We hire in professional scenery and costumes and accompany the shows with a full scale professional orchestra.

ETC aims to produce pofessional quality productions that not only enhance the profile of the group on Wiltshire's cultural scene but also to encourage young people who want to develop their theatrical skills towards a career in the business,and in the process gain (optional) recognised qualifications and earn valuable UCAS points.
For those members already in the business it is a perfect vehicle to pass on their knowledge and experiences.
Alongside this ‘training ground’ ethos there are young people who use the experience to make friends and build confidence.
